Congratulations to Sally Langer for being selected as our Tutor of the Month for March 2007. Sally's lessons are always tailored to her individual customer's English needs and she creates enjoyable and practical lesson content. Sally has also demonstrated exceptional organisational skills, reliability, and consistency.

Sally is a qualified TESOL teacher (CELTA, RMIT) and High School teacher. She also has a Bachelor of Arts.

"I have been teaching ESL for almost 8 years. During this time I have lived and worked in Japan, Mexico and Australia.
"I particularly like to do one-on-one tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to design tailor made lessons for my students and to try out a myriad of new ideas. At the moment I am particularly interested in the internet and how technology in general can aid those trying to learn a second language.

"I have a great passion for learning which keeps me very busy. Outside of my tutoring hours I divide my time between three musical instruments (voice, guitar and piano), several languages (including Spanish, French, Italian and Japanese) and studying politics, science and history in an effort to gain more of an understanding of the events and discoveries that have shaped the world in which we now live."

Steven Geroe

In recognition of the commitment to his learners' goals and for outstanding gains in their English skills, Steven Geroe is ESL Tutoring Services' February Tutor of the Month.

Steven is a qualified IELTS examiner. In addition to his Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults, Steven has also attained a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts.

“I've been teaching ESL and legal subjects for seven years, in east Asia and now in Australia. I enjoy language tutoring because I find the one to one contact enjoyable and effective, and because I appreciate the challenge and diversity of tutoring a range of community and business students.
"I enjoy spending time in the country and at the beach, swimming and cycling as well as reading and playing acoustic guitar."
